Join Work for America to learn about an exciting new fellowship opportunity with the Responsive Cities Network— a new, nationwide collaboration bringing together cities, philanthropy, and practitioners to strengthen how local governments deliver services.
This webinar will feature the fellowship hiring manager alongside placement partners from the City of San Jose, City of Boulder, and City of Philadelphia, offering job seekers a chance to hear directly from the teams hosting Service Innovation Fellows, ask questions, and get a clearer picture of what it’s like to work inside city government on high-impact service challenges.
The Responsive Cities Network is hiring three Service Innovation Fellows, embedded within city government to help diagnose service delivery challenges, test data- and technology-enabled solutions (including AI tools), and improve how cities respond to resident needs. Fellows will coordinate across departments, develop practical tools and workflows, strengthen performance and analytics capacity, and share lessons learned across a ten-city network.
This opportunity is well-suited for professionals with experience in government, nonprofits, or civic technology who are motivated by public service, equity, and transparency.
Fellowship applications are due January 20, 2025. Job seekers can learn more and apply here:
